Overview

Blacktown City Assets is responsible for providing and managing complex services and infrastructure within one of Australia’s fastest growing regions employing over 2,000 staff operating across 45 workplace locations.

Efficiency Works were engaged to:

  • Consolidate strategy, tactics and actions previously compiled into a one-page plan that will focus the team on the critical path to deliver strategic organisational objectives.
  • Establish a strategy, framework, and actions to change the broader workforce into a participative success machine.

These objectives were successfully achieved through the facilitation of strategic development workshops with the Executive Team along with a series of strategy deployment workshops with the middle management teams designed to educate and support the business units successfully deploy the strategy throughout the organisation.

Outcomes

The establishment of a clear strategic pathway along with a structure deployment framework has:

  • Galvanized the leadership team and overcome silo thinking.
  • Focused the organisation on an agreed critical path to sustainable success.
